We did it, folks.
The day has finally come and gone. I apologize for my absence but it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I am however thrilled to announce, that I, Kurt Hummel, am a William McKinley High 2012 graduate! I can’t believe high school is done. At first I honestly thought I was going to die within those walls, it was a complete hell hole and everything I’d hated… But gradually, it got better. I made some of the best friends, I met the love of my life who asked me to marry him and… I’m just happy. I have no idea what the future holds but I can breathe easy knowing it holds promise and that no matter what, nothing can change what we’ve had. I’m also ridiculously happy to know I don’t have to say goodbye to any one of you right now. The next two months will be cherished, used for adventure and for trying new things. I think it’s our time to live on the edge a little. Rest assured I’m already packed and impatiently awaiting our departure day!
We did it!! We actually made it through all of high school in one piece, for the most part. Though there were many set backs, both separate and with one another, I can honestly say you are one of the most important people in my life, Kurt Hummel. I can’t wait to spend my summer with you.
